Specialized affirming support for late-discovered neurodivergent and 2e individuals:
Therapy for Individuals
Mindfulness + Nonviolence
Unconscious beliefs, thoughts, attitudes, feelings, impulses, memories, and images affect how you live and relate to your needs in either supportive or non-supportive ways.
Hakomi somatic depth therapy uses mindfulness to access and re-inform the implicit material that shapes present experiences and relationships, offering liberation from chronic patterns.
Mindful Compassionate Dialogue (MCD) provides a vocabulary for integrating experiences and self-responsible expression, as well as concrete relational skills like life-serving boundaries, self-empathy, and working with reactivity.
My holistic power-with approach to therapy is informed by training in these complimentary modalities, and will always prioritize communication, connection, safety, and trust.
Therapy for Couples
The Relationship You Want
Intimate relationships can be profoundly nourishing and healing, and also profoundly challenging and humbling.
The parts of us that are the most vulnerable are also the most susceptible to reactivity.
The relationships we care about most can trigger conditioning from our family of origin dynamics and early attachment patterns.
While we long for a deeply satisfying quality of connection in relationships, tragic adaptive strategies and tender needs create barriers to fully receiving the nourishment available and to showing up with the integrity we value.
I support couples with understanding interpersonal systems and patterns, and in developing the fundamental framework and skills necessary for effective communication.
*Please note: couples sessions are an in-person offering.
